The Holy Metropolitan Synod of the Patristic Calendar of the Genuine Orthodox Christian’s (GOC’s) Church of Hellas has launched its Mission to North America under the spiritual care and guidance of Metropolitan Chrysostomos, Metropolitan Archbishop of the Autonomous Orthodox Metropolis of Ecuador and Latin America.
The Holy Metropolitan Synod of the Patristic Calendar of the Genuine Orthodox Christian’s (GOC’s) Church of Hellas, was officially founded in 2010, by His Beatitude the Metropolitan of Avlona and Viotia messr. ANGELOS, along with His (then) Vicar Bishops: Bishop of Martyropolis Porfyrios (Synodical Head-Secretary), Bishop of Pamfylia Gabriel and Bishop of Pentapolis Cherouvim. Metropolitan Chrysostomos was accepted to the synod in 2011 and charged with the spiritual care of the faithful in North America until such time as the Church comes under the care of a resident hierarch.
